We’re looking for full-time mortgage agents.  As an Ardent Mortgages agent, we will provide you with mortgage leads as well as training and development, so you can increase your earning potential and allow you to grow into the role.

Underwriting

Deal analysis, consultation, review, submission to the lender, approval packaging, document collection, and fulfillment – all managed for you!  We want our agents to focus on building their business and serving their clients, not chasing after documents.  Giving newer agents the confidence to go out and get business and experienced agents the ability to reduce time spent on files focusing attention on getting more business.

Our systems and tools were designed to offer visibility, transparency, and insight into your file while you work on managing the relationships to get the next one.

Private Mortgage

Ardent Mortgages focus on helping our clients at every stage of the financial journey, and for some clients, that means private funds.  With access to a network of private investors, mortgage investment companies, and our in-house lender, Squire Financial, Ardent Mortgages, is sure to have a solution for you.

A private mortgage, in most cases, is just a tool to accomplish your client’s short term objectives.  Once we’ve placed the private mortgage, you will resume the responsibility of securing further financing for your clients in one to two years.

Client Relationship Manager

With Ardent Mortgages custom developed CRM, our systems and tools will reduce or remove certain aspects of your job, freeing up to time focus on areas that are more valuable to you.

By managing and measuring every aspect of the deal, the CRM allows you as the agent to focus on generating new business and serving your clients to the best of your ability.  At a glance, you will be able to understand what stage a deal is in and what you need to do to progress the deal forward.

Overview

If you’re looking for a change of pace in an industry that is constantly shifting, check out Ardent Mortgages. In addition to traditional first mortgages, we specialize in mortgage refinances and second mortgages, helping Canadians get out of high-interest debt and begin to build their wealth by leveraging the equity in their home.

Responsibilities

Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to prospective and existing clients
Accepting mortgage applications over the phone and entering the data into our systems
Writing detailed submission notes to keep each file up to date
Using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and DocuSign
Arranging home appraisals
Submitting mortgage files to lenders
Following up with clients to collect any necessary documents in a timely manner
Corresponding with clients, lenders and lawyers to verify files are complete and accurate before closing

Qualifications

While we prefer applicants to have completed their Mortgage Agent Course and have one year’s sales experience, we are also willing to license and train. Interested candidates should be motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently to achieve their goals. As this is a sales role, applicants must be comfortable speaking on the phone and handling objections. We hold weekly training sessions to help agents overcome obstacles and be as successful as possible.

Compensation

This is a commission only role, however, it is not capped, so hard-working agents have unlimited earning potential. This job can be done part-time, but full-time agents will be the most successful. Our commission splits are based on agent experience, and we reward hard work, allowing for plenty of professional growth.
