I started Ardent Mortgages Inc in 2018, with roughly 6 years experience in mortgage brokering at the time.  Even though my background was in software development and (surprisingly) music and the arts, I found myself constantly returning to the world of real estate.  I suppose this has a lot to do with the saying, ‘the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree’ – as I grew up surrounded by family in the real estate universe (from construction, to lending, to property management, to real estate sales). 

I wanted to create a company with a focus on building and creating wealth for our clients, rather than focusing on interest rates and purchase financing.  There are so many home owners in our city and in our province who are drowning in debt, and I wanted to build something that made a difference for those people.  The idea is to graduate people from borrowing at high interest unsecured debts, to secured lower interest, to then investing and seeing a return on their efforts, rather than an interest cost.

Through strategic partnerships and a direct client approach, I believe that Ardent Mortgages has made a significant impact on the overall financial situation of the clients we have worked with over the years.  I intend to continue this trend, and look forward to helping many new clients in the future.
